Tupa Beer: Craft Beer from the Sierra de Gredos

Today, we learn the story of Gredos' most craftily rogue brewery, brimming with the passion for Beer, Tupa.

We spoke with Gonzalo, the voice of Tupa:

We are a small family brewery located in El Barco de Ávila, in the Sierra de Gredos, founded by the Aracil Coca brothers.
It all started over 15 years ago, with two pots, a lot of enthusiasm, and no fear of screwing up. And yes, some of our beers ended up in the sink, but we also created this: a small, family-run, and rebellious factory, where every beer brewed has attitude.
Since then, we've swapped the kitchen for a fermentation room, but we maintain the same passion: making craft beer with soul, using 100% natural ingredients, and without deceit.
We are not a multinational corporation. We don't wear suits. We don't have investors. We have something better: beer made with guts, slowly, and unfiltered—neither in our beer nor in life.

At El Abuelo Pipo, we champion products with roots, personality, and an authentic story. That's why you'll find Tupa craft beers in our store, brewed in El Barco de Ávila by a small family brewery that shares our passion for the Sierra de Gredos and products made without haste or pretense.
